What you say? Those little melty beads that go on a pegboard where you iron a square that’s supposed to be a coaster? Yep those are the ones.

Heres how it started. A long time ago in NYC I did jewelry design (please refer to the “about” section of this website so I don’t have to repeat myself) and I LOVED jewelry design but didn’t get back into for many years. Then the pandemic hit and I thought, “what if I can melt perlers and shape them into jewelry like I would metal?!” With those words my journey began. As far as I know I’m the only person doing this. I have ideas and then I work and work and burn myself and burn myself over and over until I make it happen.

Each piece is hand sculpted so no two or ever quite alike. I love using a lowly craft store product pigeon holed to children and turning it on its head and creating something cool and new and unique because plastic is just a material and craft is a label!!! So the ear cuffs, the rings, the flower dot necklaces, the mirrors, the tissue box holders, the vases, the swirly wine charms, the name letters, even some of my clasps, and yes the coasters, are all Perlers™
